PowerCMS 2.01 - removing buttons in ckeditor

I want to create a 'custom' toolbar in the ckeditor by removing many of the existing buttons (to limit confusion).

I did some reading online, and found the "Default" toolbar config in the fckeditor_config.js file within the HTMLEditor directory, but changing/commenting out values in that portion of the file does not cause anything to change on the editor toolbar.

I also noticed that a custom configuration js file can be put together and referenced with a path statement at the beginning of that file (I haven't tried that yet, but that will be my next step).

Is there any info. you can provide as to the simplest method to pursue (where the parameters are located :: file & path) to change the default toolbar button set?
