Th quickest way to get back to a fresh install of dreamweaver is to Delete the configuration folder form the user profile.

See the following document for locating the configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf


instead of deleting the dat file in the configuration folder, delete the entire configuration folder, Dreamweaver will create a new one if it does not exist.
