Troubleshooting

Hi all,

I have set up PowerCMS on a site on my local server. After following all the relevant documentation, I cannot get the content I created to show up on the page.

I get no error messages at all. The only thing noticable was everything after the inserted 'third line of code', copied from the developers' notes, disappeared. I've tested several pages, including a blank test page, where I've entered text before and after the inserted code. The text before the line of code displays. The content related to the line of code and the text after it, does not display.

I've altered content in the database directly via phpmyAdmin, and the changes were visible in the PowerCMS editor.

I'm pretty much a beginner, so there might be terms used in the documentation I don't understand. I doubt it, though, as all the instructions seem to be pretty straightforward.

I don't know what else I can do to try and find out where I've gone wrong.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
