Security Assist

Hi. This extension is advertised as no knowledge of coding needed, but I have to disagree. The DataAssist Help provides no help and I am sure the solution (if any) is to be found in the code which I was trying to avoid messing with, hense my buying SecurityAssist to do the coding for me.

I own quite a few WebAssist extensions I purchased and most have been worth the money. Thus, unless you can correct my problem, I have to chalk up this purchase as money not well spent.

I went through the tutorial/Help to set up a Login site and Security Assist will not let me move past the Forgotten password page. My database appears set up correctly. My one DataAssist rule is allowing access if userID and email address match and my database has varchar128 setup for password and shows all the correct data in the database when I access via myphpadmin (I use mysql). All my pages work, except not via SecurityAssist. If I take SecurityAssist out of the mix, I am fine, but then there goes the login security I had hoped for.

Can you tell me where I might have gone wrong? Or do I have to take a course in PHP?

ps: I added a default login server behavior from Dreamweaver and that worked. There must be a problem with SecurityAssist. I hope you can help.

respectfully,
GPL
