Yes, I know what it does, I just assumed when people logged out, they wanted to be completely logged out with out the ability for someone coming along after them, and being able to log in again easily, as their password and username is saved on the login page.
Personally, I guess I never use the log out function on my personal computer, since the session ends and you are technically logged out when you close your browser windows (although I have noticed with firefox, this is not always true), and on a public computer, I wouldnt check the remember me box
So, you are probably right to not have the wizard do that, as it is a matter of opinion what logging out constitutes.
