Menu Writer + Analytics Event Tracking ??

Correct my if I'm wrong, but after looking at it a bit closer last night... it appears all of the menu links are held in the .xml file.

I'm guessing the php script (or javascript) builds the html for the page on the fly... in which case it 'may' require some custom coding / changing of the Menu Writer php/java to add the Analytics Event Tracking code, since this needs to go inside of the <a> tag for the link...?

I'm fearing that there is no current method within menu writer to have it add additional code to the links themselves... in which case if I want to use Analytics Event Tracking, I'm going to have to build the whole menu by hand in the html... since I am most certainly not a php or javascript programmer!
