What do you see when you attempt to import the site after entering the details? Does the import bar just now show any progress? Do you ever get any files to be imported into your site? Sometimes the import can take a couple of minutes to run, if you have waited for more than a minute or two and do not see any progress then it is probably not importing the site.
Do you have a url that we can test with this to see if we get the same result? I actually have the same setup as you locally so this should be easy to test with this URL. Also, have you tried any other sites to see if this issue is specific to the site you are working with?
