What should I be using?

I set up a Google search page using the Google Search on my site and waited a few days but the search results only see the home page which has links to the entire site.

Am I waiting for Google to spider the site? How long do I need to wait?
Is the yahoo BOSS search going to be more accurate?

Does anyone have some recommendations? The old Interakt search extension was really great...
