the error:
Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/clients/www/marylingerie.com/www/CMS/Connections/localhost.php on line 9

means that the SQL Server name you provided is not correct.

try changing:
$hostname_localhost = "localhost";

to;
$hostname_localhost = "127.0.0.1";

if that still does not work, you will need to contact your host for the correct MySQL server name to use in the connection file.
