PayFlow Pro Helper File Clarification

PayFlow Pro Helper File Clarification

I see from a Sticky Note left by Anna Robinson that WebAssist no longer supports the PayFlow Pro Gateway. When I originally bought eCart 4, PayFlow Pro WAS a supported Gateway, and it is still the one I use. I am not in fact asking for support. Just information and clarification.

A file named 'PFPro_PHP.php' exists in the Adv_CO_Scripts subdirectory of the main WA_eCart directory.

In addition to the above, each individual shopping cart 'confirm' page contains parameters and PFPro credential and login information. It appears that this individual cart information is then taken as parameter information by functions in the above-named file, with the functions then interfacing with the Gateway. I therefore presume that the file is no more than a 'helper'.

Could someone confirm this impression.

I ask because PFPro_PHP.php does in fact contain login information. But when I follow the logic of the files, this latter information never seems to be called on or used.

Thank you for any assistance. I do hope that this request does not fall outside technical support parameters simply because you are no longer supporting the Gateway. Maybe if I roll back to eCart 4?!!!!!!!

You all stay well now ........
