Weight of 0 means no shipping?

Hi,

I'm using PowerStore 3 and I have some "products" that will never ship. I was thinking if I make the weight zero, then the shipping would not appear because zero means no weight. It seems as though I'm getting a default with UPS where the shipping is added regardless of the weight being zero.

The products aren't digital goods but things like registration fee and sponsorships. All they are are dollar amounts. They won't need any shipping fee added. PowerStore 3 seems to only let you have shipping either on or off globally. Is there a way to toggle shipping on or off for each product? I assume with some customization. If so, which file would I look at to add some sort of condition. I'm thinking I could name a SKU with some sort of trigger to filter. Then if the SKU trigger is true, calculate the shipping as zero dollars. Or, should this be done within ecart?

Thanks
