All I was going on was the code you posted in your first post:

The <br /> tags I referred to are the ones in that code (marked in red).
Are you sure that the shift in your 'page left setting' is not caused by a scroll-bar appearing on the longer pages? (see my previous post).
If it is something more than that, can you upload a copy of your page and provide a link to it so that I can see what it is that you are experiencing?
