still no emails received

Hi

have to admit I'mm just about to giveup on this - doing my head in!

Using the users registration solution everything works perfectly I can request a password reminder and it arrives perfectly.

Using the security assist wizard (as you can see from previous posts) I am getting no where.

I've created the pages and checked that the email address and password are being written to the database.

I've modifed the mail_php file with

$mailObj = mail($mailTo,$mailSubject,$mailContent,$mailHeader, "-f".$mailFrom); ( which got the user solution working)

I've created new pages not using a template inc ase there was a code conflict.

I've tried the test script from my ISP which works perfectly.

I have spoken to the ISP and their response is that

a) as their script is working Ok and
b) as the scripting in the user solution is working OK

then the isssue has to be with the security assist scripting.

Ok couple of questions please

in the Wizard:

The domain is hosted on a UNix server so should I select mail for windows or mail for unix in the email object?
I've selected
mail for windows

The server name window I've left blank because my ISP tells me that by default scripts will use their server I do have another
smtp server I could use but that requires validation via username and password. -Ok I dont know how to add this to the mail_php script.

Alternately is there a way of easily using the user registration package twice on the same site? ie changing the table names etc

Really would appreciate any help

thanks

Ian
