Placement of "search form"

Yes, the form action (page 2 from the wizard) will be different if you're on a different hierarchy level within the site, since the path to the results page will be different.

My apologies, I just checked and you will only need to apply the Search for BOSS once on the search results page if you have the search forms with the same name on each of the pages its applied to. Adding the bindings is the add form data step that you were asking questions about. You can choose one of your pages to do this with and it should work fine.
