Buzz for a live site I would allow as little as possible in the way of privileges that will allow your site to function. On public facing pages if you get away with only allowing select as that will help protect you from injection attacks, this depends on your host as to how many users they allow you to set up on the MySQL db. Else just allow Select, Insert, Update, Delete for both public and admin pages.
