HTML Editor on a different URL for CMS. Images created in html editor show relative path and thus do not show on site

We are using the html editor to create blog articles. This is done on a cms that we created. When we upload an image into an article using the Full Managed HTML editor it stores the relative URL. On the actual website, we cannot see the images as they are pointing to the relative URL not the absolute URL. How do we fix this

Also how do we set the startup folder when someone clicks the browse server button
