HTML editor not showing content

Got a bit of a strange one here. I have HTML editors in some pages that have been created by DA, and also the HTML editor for PowerCMS admin section where the content won't display in the editor. The content is there and is visible on the appropriate webpage, but if it doesn't display in the HTML editor, and the associated record is updated, then that content that was there is deleted.

As I say, I have DA generated and PowerCMS generated HTML editors that are suffering with this. Both are linked to different DB tables... the Power CMS to the pcms2_conents table and the DA generated versions linked to various other tables.

The problem is that it is not consistent as to what shows. I have content from most records showing in the editor for any given table column (pcms2_contents.ContentValue or my equivalent if generated with DA), but then there is one or tow records where the content just will not show even though it's there in the DB record.

Any thoughts?
