Use DA to send email if conditions are met

In my update page I change the 'status' field from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 depending on my choice.

The form updates the record with my choice and loads a confirmation page. On load of the confirmation page it looks at the same record, if a 1 exists in the status field, 2 more fields are updated and an email is sent containing the 3 changed states.

If a 0 exists, no email is sent and nothing is updated.

My problem:

Where 1 exists, the email sends, the updates are made, but the data from those fields are not present in the email.

I cant think of another way of achieving this, but aside from that puzzled why the 'new' data is nor present in the email.

Any ideas?
