Adding FedEx shipping options to existing checkout - where to start?

Thread began 10/26/2015 11:52 am by joerg431091 | Last modified 10/27/2015 10:25 am by joerg431091 | 1324 views | 5 replies

Hi Ray,

Thanks for responding. I did all this but I am guessing that I might don't have the basic understanding about how this works. How can the customer choose among different FedEx shipping options (ground, 2nd day, etc) that are displayed in real-time depending on the item or total he has in the cart? I looked at a few different posts in this regards and all seem to refer to eCart 5 with hidden form elements etc. I added FedEx Services snippets (as suggested in one post) to the checkout.php page but since eCart 6 uses a different confirm.php page am not sure how to proceed.

I guess I am missing sort of a step by step tutorial or guide that lets me understand how the process works. At this point I am not even sure whether FedEx even returns rates as I am not seeing anything on the site.

Apologize for my ignorance and appreciate your patience and help.

Best,
Joerg
