disconnect between dreamweaver and power cms

I'd make sure your Dreamweaver database connection is functioning properly. The edit buttons are disabled because it isn't finding the content in the database (supported by the content also not showing in the admin site viewed in the browser).

So the real question is why is the content not in the database to begin with. Did you move from localhost to a live server and not move over the database content? Did you get any errors when adding the content in the first place?

Try adding content to powerCMS and pay attention to any errors you see during the process. The issue is that the content isn't being added to the database in the first place, not that it can't be edited later, that is just a symptom.

The kfm_ files will be created automatically the first time you try to add an image to an editable area. It isn't anything to be concerned with.
