Keep using chmod 777 or use „apache” and chmod 775

Hi Jason, here another permissions issue on the same server. To upload cms-files I had to give the ".files-sqlite-pdo" map a cmod 777. But now I discovered that files in the 'files' map can only be deleted when chmod of the files is set to 777 also. See screenshot.
Is it ok to use 777 for all files or will there be a security issue...
