Issue with PayPal and eCart 6.1, using PayPal option to cancel order

Having an issue with the process when the Checkout page is redirected to PayPal for payment. Rather than filling out the details or using my account I cancel the transaction from the text at the bottom left side of the PayPal page “Cancel and return to Cxxxxx Cxxxxx Pxxxxxx”.

Using a PC with Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10 the following happens
An item is selected with “Add To Cart” on the purchase.php page; you are then directed to the cart.php page where there is an option to “Continue Shopping “, “Clear Cart”, “Update” or “Checkout”. Selecting “Checkout” directs you to the checkout.php page, which contains the form, once the form is filled out, the “Checkout” button is selected and you are redirected to the PayPal page. The PayPal page has the option cancelling the transaction as mentioned above, there is a token created in the browser (https://www.paypal.com/checkoutnow/2?incontext=0&token=EC-45B23750A4687551R&version=1.4#/checkout/login), which is different for every order. By pressing the link you are redirected to the cart.php page with the following in the browser window (http://www.cxxxxcxxxxpxxxxx.com/cart.php?ppcancel=1&token=EC-45B23750A4687551R) this I assume is correct. The cart.php page shows the items that you had placed an order for but cancelled.

Using a Mac with OS 10.5.8 and Safari 5.06 the same results apply.

Now using a Mac with OS 10.8.5 with Safari 6.2 or Firefox 35.0.1 everything is fine until a point. Selecting “Checkout” directs you to the checkout.php page that contains the form, once the form is filled out, the “Checkout” button is selected and you are redirected to the PayPal page. The PayPal page has the option cancelling the transaction as mentioned above, there is a token created in the browser (https://www.paypal.com/checkoutnow/2?incontext=0&token=EC-9GG42780KA161434A&version=1.4).
By selecting the option to cancel the transaction you are directed to the cart.php page, which shows your cart is empty, and the “Continue Shopping “button does not work. You cannot return to any page. The following appears in the browser window http://www.cxxxxcxxxxpxxxxx.com/cart.php?ppcancel=1&token=EC-45B23750A4687551R with the phrase /cart.php?ppcancel=1&token=EC-45B23750A4687551R grayed out. The same holds true for Firefox. Should I be adding code to compensate this?

Thanks in advance. John
