Working with Multiple Products on one page

Hello! I seem to remember the documentation for this being in the eCart area once before - but it's disappeared in the most current version.

I have a page that lists multiple products in a table. Each table row is a different product that is dynamically drawn from a database. Each product has a unique item number and a field for the user to be able to enter in the quantity of each product desired. Then at the bottom of the page I would like a submit button for this to go to the Shopping cart page. There will be 6 category pages like this in my store. Each with tables of multiple products - all going to the shopping cart.

This store requires users to be logged in and we also want these logged-in users to view their Order History. Each User has a pre-assigned unique User ID.

How can I have multiple product items on one page go to the shopping cart, and how can I work with the logged-in users with already existing User IDs see their order histories? (Your Order History instructions has us assigning them a user ID based on a session variable, but they already have User IDs pre-assigned.)

Many Thanks!

Carlene
