Installing xampp when I already use filezilla to upload my websites.

Hi quick background, I'm running windows 7 and I bought and installed the Super Suite (E-cart6, Datasist, etc), and used PHP myAdmin to download the sample e-commerce database that you guys so kindly provided.

I want to set up a testing server so that I can have shopping cart and database functionality on my site. So far I have static html sites built and have my sites sitting somewhere in documents and have FileZilla configured to transfer my files to my Godaddy server.

When I installed Xampp 3.2.1 I had the option to download Apache, MYSQL, FileZilla.... I Kind of need you guys to point me in the right direction as far as how to handle this. If I uncheck FileZilla (cause I already have it) then the box is greyed out and I cant use filezilla within xampp. But if I install it then I get a bunch of errors about the port being used, etc, etc.

I was watching a tutorial on youtube where the guy pressed the admin button on the xampp control panel and then went in and changed the port to 21. Would I need to do something like this?
