Personalising the email body

Personalising the email body

Hi there

I am trying to email a database of around 800 recipients. I've got everything working fine except that the email body is inserting fields from the first record, not the record which is being sent to. It's looping through them (ie. sending 800 emails to 800 different recipients) but they are all identical with data from the first recipient.

I have searched the forums and found some info which doesn't make a great deal of sense, and it's all several years old so I'm wondering what the current practice is.

I am editing the email body using the DW Edit facility.

Please help me sort this as I've already upset people by sending emails with the wrong information in.

Many thanks

Jon
