Hi all,

Hopefully a nice simple one, but it's confuddled me! (Easily done!) ;-)

I have a php index page with a map, setup using google maps pro, which pulls co-ordinates from a database. The idea is that users select the relevant flag on the map and this brings up the balloon. In this balloon is a link to a details.php page.

What I would like to do is add a search function to the index page without the faff of the directions. This should be a search bar above the map where I can type in "London" and it will take me to the nearest point of interest in my database.

One other thing is that on the details page I have another map focusing on the specific location, but I need to remove the balloon.

Any ideas?

Regards

Paladindc
