iRite - <p> tag not being inserted when using IE10

Using iRite 1.0.3 and Classic ASP.

We have two text area form fields which submit to database which we've converted to iRite boxes to allow our client to add rich text to their page however when they insert text into these fields, via IE10, it isn't inserting the paragraph tags. I have tested with IE8 and it inserts the paragraph tags without a problem.

Is this a known issue or is this something to do with cutting and pasting from Word or something? I've ticked the "Plain text only (disables Paste from Word button)" but to no avail.

Hope someone can spot what's wrong here. I can provide access to the admin backend and links to website as required.
Thank you.
