Multiple Parents Select List

I have 3 tables in my Database.

HWType
ID
Type Desc (mouse, keyboard, etc)

HWBrand
ID
Manufacturer Name

HWModel
ID
TypeID
BrandID
ModelNum
ETC

What I am wanting to do is have a select field for both the type of hardware and brand of hardware that when selected changes the select field for the model to list only the model numbers that match both type and brand. I have both the Design Extender and Data Assist products (and eCart5 for that matter). I know I can create a variable with CONCAT to join Type and Brand ID into a single string in the RecordSet but I can't see how to add the selected values from the Type and Brand select to compare to this returned variable.

I can think of a way to do this if I had multiple lines for a single brand, one for each type, or possibly another table that just has the ID combinations, but I am hoping there is a way to simply do this with the current structure. I don't shy away from coding as I have done quite a bit of it on this site, but my experience is in pretty much dead languages from the 80s (and did a bit of PERL in the 90s) so I have to research on how to do a lot of it.

Thanks
