How to change the landing page with an unsuccessful Login - don't understand the Access Rules Manager all that well.

For work flow purposes I register Members manually. Thus, no "Register" button on the website. When browsers click on secured pages from the menu without having logged in the site hangs and brings up an error message as if it cannot find an answer for their request.

Instead of bring up the error page, I would like browsers to be directed to a "Login failure" page (which I can create in DW).

Further to the above, I'd like to disply a box somewhere that says "You are logged in as XXXXX" or "You are not logged in" so that browsers may know their status.
