Cannot log into PowerMessenger after registration

Cannot log into PowerMessenger after registration

I saw an entry very similiar to my problem with Messenger.

I installed Powermessenger on my live server and set it up ok. I was able to login as Admin and create two user accounts with a profile. When I try to login as a user after registering and setting up a password I receive the following pattern of events that prevent me from loggin in with my new end user registration password.

Enter your login information
You have attempted to access a page with restricted content.
Please log in or register to continue.

Email Address:1,2 A value is required.

Password: Your password must be at least 6 characters long.

Note: I selected the 'forgot password' option which sent my password to me just fine.

What am I missing?
