installed.jpg contains malware

Hi
I installed the latest version of Powerstore yesterday on hosting space with A Small Orange. Installation went perfectly and all worked well. However I got a note from A Small Orange this morning, notifying me that the site had Malware on it specifically the installed.jpg file within the following directories
/public_html/install/webassist/themes/Default/images/installed.jpg
/public_html/webassist/themes/Default/images/installed.jpg

so they removed it and the site no longer works. I've tried replacing the file with a blank image file of the same dimensions and name but the site gives the following error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/shabbysh/public_html/webassist/themes/Default/images/installed.jpg on line 1

A small orange said that the original image file contained .php code which was a security risk.

Please help
Thanks
Neil
