isn't my insert record behaviour trigger working?

Hi,
I am trying to stuff site-search terms into a database.

I have built search and results pages successfully.

I have applied an insert record behaviour, which uses the session variable created by the keyword search, and stuffs this in database table.

The problem I'm having is with the trigger.

The only trigger I can get to work is the 'before page load'. I can't use this, because, it stuffs the keyword in every time a user goes to and from detail page.

I tried to apply the 'on Search button pressed' trigger (made sense), but when i try this, no record is inserted into the database.
(when i change trigger back to 'before page load' it works fine again.)

Can you help please?

I have attached the code for my results page here.

Thanks,

Ben
