recordset join issue

Hi.

ok Im changing some old code, I was joining some tables with the record id. but to help with some other features Im adding I want to filter using a different column. fairly straight forward...yet since I am joining 2 other tables into the mix I have some logic problem that I just cant get my head around.... basically my page is suppose to only pull records containing orders for a particular customer...with the code below its now seems to be pulling ALL records of all ordersdetails....heres the recordset:

SELECT * FROM orderdetails INNER JOIN orders ON orderdetails.DetailOrderID = orders.OrderID LEFT JOIN products ON orderdetails.DetailProductID = products.ProductID LEFT JOIN users ON orders.OrderUserID = users.UserID WHERE orders.OrderTrackingNumber = %s

basically I have 3 tables...orders, orderdetails and products. so the above recordset seems to be adding ALL records from the table orderdetails...

Where am I going wrong? lol

opps sorry correction...I just fixed my issue lol originally I was using the record ID for filter..therefore the recordset was created in dreamweaver was using the code: GetSQLValueString($colname_OrderDetails, "int"));

however since my tracking column was a VARCHAR i needed to change the int to text:

GetSQLValueString($colname_OrderDetails, "text"));
