.htaccess domain

not sure which section to put this in - its related to setting up .htaccess for domain name redirects

we have a domain name with webspace which works fine, within the webspace index we have UK, Germany and France links which then directs to the various country pages. we have recently sourced a second domain name which we have directed to the UK page and works fine but the domain name in the url changes to the orginial domain name, I have found a few suggestion on google which shows this but can not get this working

orginial
domain1.co.uk
.../uk
.../fr
.../de

new domain
domain2.co.uk takes you to domain1.co.uk/uk but shows this in the URL address bar
we would like domain2.co.uk or domain2.co.uk/uk to be shown in the URL address bar

technical side
- the webspace and domain1.co.uk is with the same ISP
- domain2.co.uk is with a 2nd ISP and have directed this to the ISP with the webspace

hope this is clear - I wanted to see if anyone has experience of any suggestions with this
