Updates that effect existing sites.. Suggestion

Hello, Got bit a couple times with older sites and partial updates from Universal Email.

Similar to this thread:

Maybe it would be a good idea to issue more comprehensive details when a new update will effect older extension installations? An email to all extension owners that note that prior Universal Email installs may fail unless you delete mailformatting_php.php and mail_php.php so they can be recreated using the latest files..?

An Email to purchasers would really help. Even an alert when installing the update would be of benefit as there is nothing worse then having a Customer call to tell you a site is no longer working as it should.

Regards,

Steve
