Integrating FB with existing page layouts - RESOLVED
I have a bunch of pages that contained forms that I was creating in the past while just using DW CS4. I got the look and feel finalized and would like to recreate the forms from past pages using Form Builder instead.
FB uses a bunch of CSS and styles that do not fit what I was doing in the past. What is the easiest way to insert a new form using FB into an existing page design that won't be broken by FB?
Next question is that I noticed that the stylesheets that were used by FB reside outside of my root directory for my website that I'm creating (using PHP and DW along with Web Assist tools). As a result, I can't view the stylesheets on the list of files view for the page I'm working with since it displays a css file is a remote file and cannot be edited. I can't even see what the values are without navigating to the directory that contains the css files and then open it from there.
These two issues may be related since basically, I need to insert forms using FB into my existing pages and yet once this is done, they break the layout of the existing page and there doesn't appear to be a way for me to edit the CSS to put things back into alignment with the existing look and feel. Usually this has to with specificity of an element in the form such as an "a" tag that is superseded by the main.css file I use for my pages' general look and feel.
thanks for the info,
steve
