Help building form

Sorry, I posted a reply but it isn't showing.

The form is not loaded on the server yet because I am not ready to post it, when I received the prompts about a testing server, etc. I wanted to know what I was doing before uploading the form to the client's site.

I was under the impression that I could create a form without being a programmer? That "Forms Builder" automated creating a form. Is this correct or do I need to have a background in PHP? Do I need to build a table to hold the data? I want to insert a form be able to capture the data in an email to the client. Is this the right tool?

I followed the instructions on inserting a form into the page, but when I test it in my browser it shows the code in the fields of the form. Should I upload the form? And is there a step by step tutorial? I searched but the tutorials seem to jump into subjects like editing the form and not just deploying the form.

I would really appreciate some help.
