form validation on html5 and IE8 and 9

Hello i have a site in html5, i added a form to the page but the spry validation is not working on the site with internet explorer 8 and 9, it works fine on firefox, chrome and safari, the only fields that validate are those that have a specific format like email or integer, but never says required field just says invalid format for example, the rest just seems not to work, then after submitting the form i do get correctly all the server side validation.

Also if the form is created by the css form builder in databridge and if i apply spry validation tooltips, the server side validations shows the tooltip and they can not be closed, this for example if the user has typed wrong the captcha, it displays the bubble that says that the text does not match, and stays opened no matter what not letting us see what ever field is above it or if the cpatcha picture is over the field i can not read what is on the new captcha image cause the bubble can not be closed
