Problem with session values

I have got a results page where I can get a value to populate the session on the basis that the recordset results are not blank. if there are no records available to view, then I can't get the session to populate, and I can't figure out why.

I'm hoping you might be able to help.

I have two record sets in particular. One called WADAtbl_forumPOSTS which has all of the related records, and another called rs_forumname which relates to the forum in which the post is saved. I have got the recordset rs_forumname that is pulling in a URL parameter, and the recordset is populating fine, and this recordset is what I am using to give a value to the session, but as I say, if there are no records related to the WADAtbl_forumPOSTS recordset, then the session value is empty.

What's wrong? I know I've done something wrong!

I've attached my page if you're interested in seeing it.

WADAtbl_forumPOSTS is at line 166
rs_forumname is at line 193
USES_forumID is at line 244

Thanks.
