Connection setup crashes DW CS6

I haven't been able to get this plugin to work. I have the testing server set up and connecting properly, the database is up and working. I have the production site up with a working connection and database also.

When I add a content area as the first step, I get the window to Create PowerCMS Content Area. Every time I click on the Define button to create a connection, it crashes Dreamweaver. Before this, it was giving the js error and getting stuck so I would have to force quit.

I tried dumping the cache file as instructed elsewhere and that didn't work. I then removed all Webassist plugins, files and preferences. Repaired permissions on the drive and found all instances of any file that was related to WA and deleted them. I also deleted all Dreamweaver preference files.

I then reinstalled PowerCMS builder and still get the crashes.

I am on a Retina MacBook Pro using Mountain Lion and Dreamweaver CS6. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

BTW - recaptcha doesn't seem to work on this form in Firefox. I had to post this using Safari.
