Universal Email 3.07 Losing Mailbody

In the last several months, UE has been acting buggy and I can't pinpoint the problem. After I add the UE behavior to the page and reopen the extension, I lose the mailbody. Clicking on the body tab only shows "No HTML version specified..." If I edit the html again, it saves it back to the page...but I am unable to reopen the behavior and edit again. It is like starting over from scratch every time I open the behavior. Strangly, all of the other email tabs remain populated (Email Object, SMPT Server, etc..).

I have been troubleshooting for hours. I have uninstalled DW and all of my WA extensions. After doing that, and reinstalling DW and UE, I can get the behavior to work correctly a few times, and then it goes back to losing the body.

This happens on all of my sites where I use UE... not a specific site or form. I also tried deleted the Wincache file, and was able to get the extention to work correctly only once. I was hoping that I could repeat that, but once again, that solution was short lived.

I am at the end of my rope and would appreciate any advice.

I am using UE 3.07 on DW 4 with ASP/VB. I am a long time WA user, and I have many sites that still are in ASP/VB, so I keep DW 4 installed for those site. I know it isn't supported any longer, but the configuration I have has worked for me for years...so I just can't seem to figure out what has changed.

My OS is Windows 7, 64bit.
