Unable to upload images, then pages

Hi. I was first unable to upload images from PowerCMS in Dreamweaver. I created a php page, added some text and images to the page, selected the text and images on the page, then clicked on the WebAssist menu link>CMS>Add Content to PowerCMS. The page with text uploaded, but no images were uploaded or appeared in the PowerCMS editing window. Under Settings>Server Settings the Image Upload Folder was set to a default of the root directory for the site followed by /files/ . I changed this setting to the root directory followed by the website directory for this site and tried to upload a page with text and images again. Didn't work. Now I am unable to upload a php page. It is shown without the images in the PowerCMS window, but does not appear on the server. Please advise. Thanks.

I'm updating my post... My bad, I see that the PHP version setting at my host defaulted to 5.2.17. PowerCMS requires PHP 5.2.3+ . I will change the PHP setting at the hosting provider, delete the files and databases from my server and re-install with another test site. Also, I'll update this post later after I've done that.
