Activation error -- Unexpected error 50

Hi, I've got Dreamweaver CS3 installed in a Linux environment, Mint 13 Mate Edition, and I was able get my all my extensions installed and activated from various other 'unnamed' companies, <G>, but when I try to activate my WebAssist extensions I get an Unexpected error 50?
I realize that Linux is not a supported OS for these products and to be honest this is mostly an intellectual exercise to see if it can be done so I'm not expecting any real support, I would just like to know what 'Unexpected error 50' refers to, that way I can see if I can solve the issue on my side.
TIA
