CMS in Design Extender: does it Require cutting and pasting code?

Hi,
I thought I understood how to easily create a CMS using Design Extender.

Then I became all confused when the videos start talking about grabbing code and going to different Dreamweaver views and deleting and pasting certain text.

I think this is a simple question:
I want to create a CMS for a College Student Group.

No one in the student group has any web design experience or interest, but they do want to update a website using an HTML editor.

Now, for my question:

Can I create a website using the Build Website Sculpture tool/wizard and create many, MANY pages all at that one time using the wizard, am I then able to avoid all that cutting and pasting of code?

The training video talks about copying code and removing some code and other steps that are over my head.

I want to use the Web Extender Wizard to create a website with LOTS of pages and let the students populate the pages with content and link from the pages that are already created.

I hope that makes sense!

Thanks,

Mark
