Ability to use own template but have SEO fields?

I was wondering if it was possible to use my own html/php template with design extender, but to integrate the CMS that has the SEO fields and the different menu order (where it is hierarchical, not alphabetical) that one gets when creating from a template already in Design Extender?

When I add a Database to my own template I am limited to an alpha order list with no SEO fields...having the ability to change these would be phenomenal...please let me know if and how this is possible.

The only fix (which is a huge hassel) that I have found is to create a mock site with a Design Extender Template, then copy and paste the PHP CMS fields into the new custom template...but this is a big hassel and very time consuming!

Also, any chance that we will see User Levels in upcoming Design Extender Updates?
Many thanks!
~Chris
