We really need compatability information

We really need compatability information

I was just looking at an old email about an update for CSS Menu Writer. I look at my extensions, and I do not have CSS Menu Writer installed since I upgraded to CS 5.5

I cannot remember if CSS Menu Writer got wrapped in another extension and I should not install it, or if I am missing it. I had to dig around a bit to realize it was not there because it was superseded by Design Extender.

Many people have asked repeatedly for certain maintenance features to be part of the downloads area, and I really think WA needs to take these requests more seriously.

When a new extension or an update is released, we need to have updated information on:

  1. How to updated existing web pages;
  2. Whether or not and what needs to be uninstalled before installing the extension;
  3. Information on the older extensions indicating what packages may have superseded the package and thus, the package should not be installed if the newer package is also installed (e.g. CSS Form Builder or Design Extender.

Thanks for your consideration.
