Update page losing original values when submitted?

Good afternoon, an update page was created by DA wizard, I tyen edited this to allow update of 2 tables as required, manually inserting a 2nd update table.

I have a problem now & cannot work it out despite spending several days on it! Some of the original values do not pull through to the update form, hence when resubmitted it add a zero to the value of these columns?

For example, I have 2 select boxes on my update form. The backend table has the correct values but when update form is opened the values are set to the select box title and not the actual value?

Secondly the update record created by DA doesnt insert update into the 1st update record [contacts] although it did when first created. Running both inserts individually also works, I have attached the page if anyone can see my errors?

Thanks
