Total abject failure

Hi Jason

sorry to be a pain but I seem to be failing in my endevour. I am using my WAMP server because I,m rather loath to play with the live server.

My aim is still any order under £200 IN Total will be £10 carriage and anything above free so following you reply |I did the following:

Ive added a product ( to the setup on my test server)

I've left shipping and handling charges blank

I've left the check box marked "exclude from all shiping rules" un checked

and I've set the weight to be 25 ie using the cost as a weight- so one will be chargable but 5 will be free carriage

I went into admin---Shipping settings and set weight unit to pounds

Tick the box enable shipping

I deleted all existing rules

pressed "add shipping rule"

in the max weight types 200

and in the rate typed 10

I then pressed ADD

<=200lb £10.0 appears in the window

The Basic rate and per rate boxes are both set at zero

I press OK and return to the Shipping settings screen.

I have one rule showing which should say thet any order under 200 is charged at £10

However when I edit the rule ( clicking the edit icon) no rule is shown.

Basic rate is set to 0
peritem rate is set to 0
provider is set to custom
and below that is a grey box with just Max weight and rate in the window.

Image 1 is is on opening the screen

Image 2 is before presing ok

Image 3 is after pressing ok and then selecting the edit button

Any ideas should I| try it on the live server?

thanks

Ian
