Side Menu modifications

Hello.

I have a couple of questions regarding the side menu that I have been trying to work through. The site is martab.com

I am trying to eliminate confusion for the customers. After reading a thread here I added code where if the price is 0 it shows "Rental Product" instead of the price. When the rental product is selected the side panel on the product results page shows all products regardless of category. My client wants to also set up a quote cart, so I am going to use the same code and modify it where if the price is 1000 it will show "Purchase Today" instead of the price but still go through the cart process (on advise from Jason in another thread).

My question is: On the product results page in the side menu, can I either hide all prices = 1000 and show all prices = 0 when rentals are selected, through code, and vice versa when quote products are selected? Maybe have the categories in the menu collapse and expand so you show all products under rentals but have to click on quote products to expand that category and vica versa when quotes are initially selected.

Ultimately I would like to set up a resultsRentals and resultsQuote page where when the specific category is selected, only shows the corresponding products in the side menu. I was told in another thread that this is not supported. If collapsing/expanding the menu is also not supported, is it possible to accomplish this through a premium or premier ticket?
