I have no problems with users helping other users, In actual fact, I encourage users to help each other. I would love to see more of a community feel grow in this forum.

That being said, GraigR raises the big issue with this: we cant offer support if something goes wrong when somebody tries to implement your updates.

Other issues can develop from this as well. For example, if they implement your updates then come back at a later date and ask how to modify something else in the files. I no longer have the same source code as they do, if I say change line 235 to something else, the code at line 235 for them is now different so my answer just causes confusion.

The bottom line is that it's not so simple as a "plug-in".

any file changes greatly effect the support I can offer. it would rely on the person implementing the updates you offer to include that fact in any future support posts to ensure that I am on the same page. from my experience, i dont see that as a realistic expectation.

I think instead of publishing the updated files in public, it may be better to offer you services in the job board to perform the updates for them.
